Thelma, Frank, and Louise

Thelma, Frank, and Louise are the newest animal additions to the Pumpkin Patch!  They are pretty cute if I do say so myself.  They're also quiet which I like, compared to those pigs : )  Frank and Thelma are somewhat of a couple and Louise is their tag along friend.  They moved in a week and a half ago and are adjusting quiet well.  Come and meet them at the patch!

NOW OPEN!

YEAH....the Wilstem Ranch Pumpkin Patch at Castle Knoll Farms is officially open!  We had a great first day on Saturday, although the weather didn't hold up on Sunday and we had to close.  However, Saturday was a blast!  I have the tell you the secret is to buy the wristband when you get there!  Your kids can participate in all of the additional activities, somewhat like a carnival.  Its a great deal and where you will get the biggest bang for your buck!  Keep checking my blog for any updates.  Hope to see you soon!

The newest members of the crew

Meet the newest members of our crew....the Nygerian Pygmy Goat! We have two of them and let me tell you they are a complete hoot! I'm so little but I think I could squish them with one hoof...and that's not saying much! We also have a miniature potbelly pig named Petunia, she is kind of annoying! She squeals about everything! You can't show her a bottle unless you plan to give it to her in the next two seconds....she's awfully demanding...and a messy eater too : )

Everything is going great at the Patch.  Our petting farm is all set up and they are working on setting up the hay maze as I type right now.  It will be a short height so the kiddos can see out and not get scared.  We don't want anyone getting lost!  Well, better go....it's time for my lunch date with Dazey!  Signing off!

Progress

We are making progress on the Pumpkin Patch! It's lookin good, let me tell you! Our digs are pretty nice! We will be in a very cool tile building which used to be the produce house for the French Lick Resort. They used to grow all their own produce! Dazey and I will be at home in there with our other friends : ) They are working on the barrel train track, have put up the mini zipline, and are working on installing the Alpine Slide! It's going to be pretty neat! Remember, I am the main attraction though!!!! My goal is to be the most talked about girl on the Internet. Now, I may not hold a candle to Miley Cyrus...she's gone a little crazy...but I would like to be photographed and placed on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and any other social media sites you use! We're getting pumped to meet you all. We open September 28th!!!!!
